Andrey Tanzu (Moscow, Russia) - musician, percussionist, producer and teacher. Has been professionally engaged in music for about 20 years, immersing himself and studying the world traditions and styles of Egypt, Iran, Turkey, India. He is the first percussionist in Russia who reincarnated and began to promote a practice that comes from the depths of the centuries - playing frame drums. Throughout his musical career, Andrey Tanzu played and collaborated with many famous musicians and projects, such as Zohar Fresco (Israel), Misirli Ahmet (Turkey), Murat Coscun (Germany), Pedram Khavarzamini (Iran), Siavash Walipour (Iran), Aleish Tobias (Spain), Rocky Danziger (Turkey), Peia Bird (USA), Naval (France), Avi Adir (Holland), Murray Kyle (Australia), Berkant Cakici (Turkey), Bunyamin Olguncan (Turkey), Hang Massive (England) ), Authentic Light Orchestra (Switzerland), Sergey Starostin (Russia), Bittu Mallik (India) and many others.
Masterfully owns such instruments as Bendir, Tar, Mazar, Rik, Kandzhira, Daf, Gaval, Ghatam, Udu, Darbuka, Dolak, Kakhon, Kalabash, Hang, Rav Dram, Vargan. Founder of musical projects: SevenEight Band, The Living Earth, Huzzam, I-Amness. In 2017, the winner of the Best Ethnic Project in Russia nomination at the Russian World Music Awards. He is the official representative of Russia, as well as a frame drum teacher at the annual world's largest percussion event Tambuti Mundi (Germany). He is also a regular participant in Russian and international festivals: "Hudetsi", "Enshnt Trans Fest", "Grumant", "Trimurti", "Usadba Jazz", "Kamva". Represented Russia in Germany, India, Japan, Qatar. At the moment, he actively continues to develop musical culture in Russia and in the world, has many students and followers.
